News — Working to Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour at M Cwmbran

This week, M Cwmbran hosted a productive multi‑agency meeting to address anti‑social behaviour (ASB) in the town centre and at the McDonald’s restaurant.

The session brought together the Neighbourhood Team, Centre Management, McDonald’s management, Community Safety representatives, and Gwent Police’s Torfaen Officers, creating a strong, joined‑up approach to improving safety.

Representing the centre were Soft Service Manager Julie Williams and Centre Manager Simon Whiting, who worked alongside McDonald’s managers and police representatives to share insights and explore practical strategies for making the area safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Discussions focused on improving communication, strengthening visibility in key areas, and developing preventative, long‑term solutions for the community.

M Cwmbran remains committed to working proactively with all partners to ensure a welcoming, secure environment for visitors, staff, and local residents.
