Each year, our Christmas Light Switch-On brings the community together for a day filled with festive fun, entertainment, and Christmas magic. Before the big countdown begins, we’re looking for a variety of talented acts to help create an unforgettable afternoon of live entertainment.

Take to the Stage

From 12pm until 5pm, selected performers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on stage in front of visitors attending one of the area’s most anticipated festive events.

We’re welcoming applications from a wide range of performers, including:

Singers and vocal groups

Dancers and dance schools

Musicians and bands

Choirs

Theatre groups

Children’s entertainers

Novelty and speciality acts

Community performance groups

Whether you’re an experienced performer or a local group looking for an opportunity to share your talent with the community, we’d love to hear from you.

The Big Switch-On

The live entertainment will lead up to the highlight of the day at 5pm, when Santa Claus and a special guest will officially switch on the Christmas lights, marking the start of the festive season in spectacular style.

How to Apply
