Get ready for our
CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON!
On Saturday 25th November 2023, come along from 12pm to Gwent Square for a full day of Christmas acts on stage and around the centre
Our centre will be jam-packed with fun festive things to do for the whole family.
Catch our main act Britian’s Got Talent’s finalist Travis George who is from Cwmbran himself singing and interacting with the audience before we count down for the lights to switch on at 5pm!
That’s not all, see the bouncing Elves walking about the centre, get your face painted and gifts wrapping in The Marketplace and catch Santa coming round on our Christmas Train Parade!
Don’t forget you can also book to see Santa at his Grotto (see our Santa Grotto page for more information regarding dates, times and booking).
LIGHT SWITCH ON SCHEDULE:
11:45am – Lydia Evans (Miss Newport 2023) will be kicking the day off.
12pm – Piping Hot Cwmbran Piping Band are performing and will be leading the parade later in the day!
12:30pm – Nany Celyn Primary School will be showcasing a singing performance.
1pm – Swn y Gan Choir are here to get us in the Christmas spirit with some Christmas songs and hymns.
2pm – Everyone’s favourite ‘The Voice of Tom Jones’ is here singing the well-known classics!
3pm – Local SL Dance Academy will be putting on a festive dance performance.
4pm – Our star of the day Travis George will be showcasing his singing talents!
4:30pm – Lydia Evans is back on the stage telling us all about her Miss Newport story and how to support her as she runs for Miss Great Britain
4:59 – Join us with Lydia Evans and Travis George counting downs for when the Christmas lights switch on!
As well as: Craft Xmas Stalls, Face Painting and Family Christmas Crafts from 12pm – 4pm.
Christmas Train Parade starting at 4:30pm.
And Santa’s Grotto opening from 4:30 – 6:30pm.
