News — M Cwmbran Awarded POSPA Order of Distinction

 

M Cwmbran has secured the prestigious RoSPA Order of Distinction Award after earning 16 consecutive gold awards, reflecting nearly two decades of excellence in health and safety. Covering January 1 to December 31, 2023, the award was presented at a London ceremony on May 14, 2024.

Owned by LCP, part of M Core, M Cwmbran spans over 740,000 sq. ft., featuring retailers like Dunelm and Primark. Recent additions include The Range, Coffee#1, Loungers, and One Beyond, alongside independent traders, contributing to a 1.16 million increase in visitor numbers last year.

Centre Manager Tony Wilkes praised the team’s dedication to safety, ensuring a secure environment for all users. Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, highlighted the importance of recognizing safety excellence and commended M Cwmbran’s unwavering commitment to protecting employees, clients, and customers.

Celebrating 68 years, the RoSPA Awards program attracts nearly 2,000 entries annually from over 50 countries, impacting more than seven million employees and setting benchmarks in health and safety standards.
