Events — Reading Well for Mental Health

16/08/2019 until 16/08/2019

Reading Well for Mental Health is a local library scheme that aims to support people in the community that may suffer with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety or grief. This scheme provides a collection of reading materials, information and support for managing common mental health conditions, or dealing with difficult feelings and experiences. Some books also include personal stories from people who are living with or caring for someone with mental health needs.

Torfaen Library & Information Service have organised two ‘open’ afternoons to raise awareness of the collection, which will be on display, together with promotional materials and refreshments.

Join Cwmbran Library on Friday 16th August 2pm-4pm or Pontypool Library on Thursday 22nd August 2.30-3.30pm

All are welcome.
