Many Cwmbran Centre stores have stepped up their efforts to become more sustainable to help the environment. Here are just some of their efforts:
Clarks
Clarks collect old or unwanted shoes as part of their ShoeShare initiative. Since beginning this they have been able to support UNICEF as they strive to transform the lives of children everywhere.

Costa
Costa have pride cups, gold cups, stone effect cups, and even cups made from other cups. They introduced re-usable cups into stores to help them continue reducing the number of takeaway cups being used. You’ll even benefit from 25p off any handcrafted drink when it’s served in a reusable cup.
Too Good To Go – The app that lets you rescue delicious, unsold food from local shops and restaurants so it doesn’t go to waste.

REPREVE Our Ocean Jeans
Primark have partnered with REPREVE Our Ocean to create a new staple skinny jean.
Did you know that most plastic that ends up in oceans is due to human activities near the coast?
This is why REPREVE Our Ocean gathers up bottles found within 50km of coastlines. From there, bottles are ground and melted into pellets before being spun into their innovative polyester fibre.
